garett nelson was born & raised in las vegas, nevada before attending the university of pennsylvania, where he studied fine arts and chinese.

after graduating in 2017, he moved to copenhagen to work with kinfolk magazine 

& studio david thulstrup.

he is now based in new york city and works from his studio in dumbo.
